Job summary

Boeing’s Phantom Works Missile Defense National Teams seek Associate Systems Engineers to work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO, supporting system architecture, integration, and modeling across the MDA/C2BMC and C2BMC efforts. Candidates should have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 2+ years in system engineering, with familiarity with MBSE tools like Cameo/DOORS.

This 100% onsite role requires an active U.S. Secret Clearance and relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of related engineering experience.
• Prior experience in system engineering (design, architecture, integration, or test).

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the MDA/C2BMC system architecture.
• Develop and maintain requirements and architecture artifacts (including interface definitions).
• Run and support architecture and requirements trade studies to improve mission performance, cost/schedule, and feasibility.
• Own and improve the requirements management engine with planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring of requirements processes and tools.
• Support program-level risks/issues/opportunities tracking and technology readiness assessments related to architecture and requirements decisions.
• Collaborate with MDA, warfighters, and industry partners to align requirements, interfaces, and system priorities.
• Plan and execute integration and checkout work; define tasks, schedule, assign work, and monitor completion.
• Evaluate results from integration to ensure checkout requirements are met.
• Define and drive the overall integration and test strategy (I&T).
• Execute and document integration and test events with results and evidence for verification.
• Partner with integration/test SMEs to solve complex system problems across processes and tools.
• Identify and implement tool/process improvements that reduce friction and increase throughput.
• Evaluate system performance across scenarios and architectures to provide mission insight.
