Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a staffing coordinator to manage daily nursing unit staffing, monitor census and absences, and update staffing worksheets. You will input data into Kronos and work with the House Supervisor to distribute staff according to labor contracts and deadlines.

Description

Provides daily centralized staffing function for nursing units through monitoring, placement and updating of daily staffing worksheets. Inputs low census and absences in Kronos. Works under the direction of the House Supervisor to assure appropriate distribution of staff to nursing units including arranging for staff to support nurse unit matrices. Adhering to all labor contracts and policies. Position has high call volume and must meet all contractual deadlines.

Working Hours:

• Full Time - 32 hours weekly
• (4) 8-hour shifts per week
• Night, Evening, or Variable shift

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of Data Entry

• Staffing, scheduling or similar experience

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
