Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience working on projects supporting a regulated industry (e.g., pharma).
  • 2+ years of experience with capacity and project management systems (Wrike/Workfront/Jira).
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor work visas.

Position Description
  • The purpose of the Senior Associate, Content Operations role is to partner with brands, external and internal partners to ensure the brand’s content strategy is implemented with quality, speed, value and compliance across the content supply chain. The Manager, Content Operations is expected to be a creative problem solver who supports achievement of the brand’s goals while always seeking ways to apply the process in a more effective manner. This individual supervises a portfolio of assigned projects for their respective brands, and defines, oversees, and maintains a complete timeline for brand content and projects. They use system tools to improve important metrics (including, but limited to, throughput, velocity, speed, rework, and deviations) across the content supply chain to ensure on-time delivery of quality projects in accordance with the brand strategy. They review timelines and capacity constraints for their given brands. They supervise errors, and work solution fixes, and technology to ensure accurate measurement of work to be done, capacity, resources required, forecasting, and content operations. They are responsible for checking work thoroughly between content supply chain systems and handoffs. They ensure data accuracy and track progress across content supply chain systems. In addition, this role is responsible for training and upskilling cross functional teammates on content supply chain systems, workflows, tasks, and results.
  • This role reports to the Senior Director, Content Operations.

  • Know Lilly, our customers, internal and external business partners, and our purpose
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of your role and associated work, information and material flows, processes, procedures, systems, and methods across the content supply chain.
  • Possess deep technical understanding of existing tools, who uses them, their tasks, workflows, interdependencies, etc.
  • Understand content/project/tactic types, associated requirements, brand archetypes and model strong knowledge of the content supply chain.
  • Maintain deep understanding of project management systems, data, interdependencies, and workflows.
  • Develop effective connections with peers at engaged agencies, vendors, and internal capabilities across the content supply chain.
  • Possess understanding of Lilly’s compliance standards and quality requirements (e.g., CIQ, MLRO processes, AI technologies, content standards, FDA, etc.) and must be capable of applying these processes and requirements when performing in their role.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the unique requirements and considerations associated with supported brands, their channel mix, and content strategy.
  • Make patients’ lives better, accept Team Lilly, invite and adopt change, and advocate for the organization while getting work done compliantly.
  • Accountable for project and workflow management in support of a brands content strategy and backlog, across the content supply chain
  • Define, oversee, and maintain an overall timeline for all projects within the brand’s backlog in partnership with internal and external agency, brand, review, and operations teammates.
  • Ensure the prompt and successful delivery of projects according to marketing needs and objectives
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the business
  • Train and upskill cross functional partners on content supply chain systems and workflows
  • Partner in the deviation process, and log deviations using quality management system, and pass on to internal quality process department to conduct investigation into why, how and how to prevent in future
  • Use system tools to optimize team capacity, velocity, and throughput and coordinate with cross-functional peers to assess resource capacity and devise solutions to address resource constraints
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience working on projects supporting a regulated industry (e.g., pharma)
  • 2+ years of experience with capacity and project management systems (e.g., Wrike/Workfront/Jira)

  • Experience with project management techniques and software (e.g. Workfront, Wrike, Scope Deliver, Jira, Workamajig, Asana, Trello)
  • Experience with promotional approval systems (e.g. Veeva Vault Promo Mats, iMarketing)
  • Demonstrated passion and the ability to work to meet deadlines
  • Skilled at analysis, judgment and decision making, with an eye toward quality and continuous improvement

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$58,500 - $137,500

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).
