Job Summary:

The position will provide an opportunity for learning and development in a professional lab setting, contributing to development and commercialization of our Company life‑saving therapeutics. The primary responsibility for this position will be the support of the solutions prep team with secondary opportunities to support the purification team. The ideal candidate should have experience with small‑scale and/or large‑scale bioprocess equipment, including stainless steel and single use mixing tanks, sterile filtration, aseptic technique, be able to work well with others, and communicate effectively both written and orally. Candidate may be requested to work during non‑business hours/days to support production activities.

Responsibilities:

• Actively engage in the preparation of solutions to support pilot plant operations


• Batch documentation within an electronic laboratory system


• Participate in scheduling discussions within the operations team


• Work collaboratively with pilot plant operations, upstream and downstream teams


• Work collaboratively with process development scientists from across BPR&D


• Support safety and training initiatives


• Track and document chemicals usage and inventory


• Employ good housekeeping and maintain clean room to prevent contamination and integrity of production

Education:

BS in Chemical/Biochemical/Biomedical Engineering/Biology/Chemistrywith 1+ year of relevant experience

Required Experience and Skills:

• Strong skills in laboratory experimentation and documentation


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in cross‑functional team environments


• Lead small projects or sub‑teams including vendor interactions


• Strong troubleshooting skills


• Ability and willingness to learn new lab techniques, adhere to all safety guidelines, and pick up/move up 25lbs

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience working with stainless steel mixing tanks and single use mixers (SUMs) is a plus

Salary Range:

The salary range for this role is $71,900.00 - $113,200.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
