Job description

Role:

The Associate Sonographer operates ultrasound imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

Operate imaging tools, maintain imaging standards, communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams, and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a Sonography school with clinical hours or registered sonographer; ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI certification or eligibility; BLS certification within 30 days; state licensure if required.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of imaging protocols, machine operation and safety procedures, attention to detail, strong communication, adaptability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk extensively, and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching.
