Job summary

Index Exchange is seeking a Solutions Consultant in New York to deliver technical support for publishers and manage publisher accounts within a fast-paced, ad-tech environment.

You will onboard new publishers, optimize integrations, and use tools like Looker, Salesforce, Confluence to troubleshoot and document progress while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level education in CS/Engineering or related technical field.
• 3-6 years experience in Ad Operations or similar role.
• Familiarity with ad tech and operations: ad tags, pixels, HTTP, cookies.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support to publishers in account management and troubleshooting.
• Assist onboarding of publishers and optimize integration using Index’s publisher journey workflow.
• Manage tasks and document progress using Salesforce ticketing system and internal tools.
• Become proficient in internal/external systems like Index UI support portal and Looker, Confluence, other tools for delivering solutions.
• Engage with clients through email, Salesforce tickets, and video calls; attend QBRs as requested to support relationships.
• Stay updated on product releases and internal procedures through training and documentation.

The Solutions Consulting team at IX operates at the intersection of Sales, Account Management, Software Development, and Marketing. As a Solutions Consultant, you will support the delivery of technical solutions for small to mid-size publishers, gaining exposure to multiple aspects of the customer lifecycle. You will provide technical assistance, manage publisher accounts, and troubleshoot issues, working alongside cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

• Technical Support for Publishers: Provide hands‑on technical support to small and mid‑size publishers in account management, troubleshooting, and account configuration changes.
• Integration Expertise: Assist in onboarding new publishers, ensuring successful integration and optimization using Index’s publisher journey workflow.
• Day-to-Day Task Management: Use internal tools such as Salesforce ticketing systems to manage tasks, document progress, and keep client cases up-to-date.
• Tool Mastery: Become proficient in internal and external systems such as the Index UI support portal or Confluence, business intelligence tools like Looker, and other tools necessary for delivering solutions and troubleshooting client issues.
• Client Communication: Engage with clients through various channels, including email, Salesforce tickets, and video calls. Attend Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) as requested by the account management team to support client relationships and provide technical insights.
• Stay Informed on Products: Continuously update your knowledge on the latest product releases and operational procedures through internal training.
• Documentation: Contribute to internal documentation, capturing learnings and best practices to support the broader team.

Here’s What You Need

• Education: College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience:
  • 3-6 years of experience in Ad Operations or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with ad technology and operations, including ad tags, pixels, and HTTP (verbs, cookies).
• Technical Skills:
  • Ability to read and write basic SQL queries.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript for troubleshooting or light coding.
  • Familiarity with the following languages and formats: JSON, XML, CSV, CSS

Salary

The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $140,000. The total compensation package may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
