Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is hiring for an Associate, Software Engineering in Rockwall, TX. The role focuses on applying computer science and engineering principles to develop software for embedded, real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interfaces between hardware and software, participate in all SDLC phases, and contribute to software testing and documentation with a variety of languages and RTOS environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or has completed a Bachelor’s degree in a related field within the last 12 months or currently enrolled.

Responsibilities

• Apply CS and engineering concepts to develop software for target applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design interfaces between hardware and software.
• Support DSLC phases: requirements, design, implementation, integration, and test of embedded software for real-time control.
• Develop software test procedures and documentation.
• Use modeling tools to establish operating data and conduct tests.
• Participate in peer reviews and defect repair.
• Work with multiple languages on Windows, Linux, and embedded RTOS.
