Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Associate, Software Engineering in Chantilly, VA. You will support software development for Linux and Windows applications, with a focus on image processing and military mission systems.

Hardware interfaces, GUI design, and modern design patterns are valued, with Docker/Kubernetes and CUDA familiarity as pluses. Candidates pursuing a Bachelor’s in CS or ECE or recent grads within 12 months are eligible.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or recently graduated within 12 months.
• Experience with C/C++/VC++ for Linux/Windows applications.
• Familiarity with software patterns and modern design methodologies.
• CUDA/GPU development experience is a plus.
• Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Hardware communications interfacing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support software for Linux and Windows applications.
• Work on military mission systems or image processing desktop software.
• Apply object-oriented design and software lifecycle practices.
• Collaborate on GUI and hardware interface tasks where applicable.
