Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in McKinney, TX is seeking an Associate Shipper/Receiver. This full-time role involves shipping, receiving, stocking finished goods, and ensuring shipments meet quality standards.

You’ll operate forklifts and pallet jacks, with safety as a priority, and you may travel up to a small extent as needed. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and will receive on-hire certification for forklift and DOT HazMat training.

Qualifications

• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• DOT HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 0-3 months of warehouse/shipping experience required.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system or tablet.

Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment. Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards. Receive, stock, and rotate product. Identify, tag, store and locate finished inventory. (70%)Create and apply documents, such as shipping labels, packing list, and bills of lading for each pallet/shipment. (10%)Maintain a clean work environment. (10%)Other duties as assigned. (10%)DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIf you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes.
