Pearson is hiring remote scorers to evaluate Florida teacher candidate responses. You’ll internalize scoring standards, discuss with peers, and maintain quality targets from a remote setting.
Requirements include a 4-year degree or higher, a current teaching certification in the relevant subject, and at least five years of teaching experience in the field. Scorers must be approved by the Florida Department of Education and be available weekdays 8:30 AM–4:00 PM EST.

All scorers must be approved to score by the Florida Department of Education.
Both active and recently retired practitioners can be eligible to score provided you are available to work on a weekday from 8:30 AM EST to 4:00 PM EST.
Training takes place before scoring begins. There may be a brief orientation meeting before the day of scoring occurs.
Scoring sessions take place during the week Monday through Friday. Scoring sessions will occur on one day, every 2 weeks. The scoring day runs from 8:30 AM to approximately 4:30 PM EST, including training. There are no evening or weekend shifts.
This position will start in fall 2026.
