Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in New London, CT, is seeking a detail-oriented professional to analyze powder samples for particle size, density, flow, and shape, and to assess liquid samples for viscosity and surface tension. The role uses optical microscopy, laser diffraction, and electron microscopy to characterize materials and support quality decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other science related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
• At least one year experience in particle and powder characterization is preferred
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Proficient in learning new techniques, developing and carrying out experimental plans, and performing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience in data handling and scientific/engineering computations
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• At least one year experience in particle and powder characterization
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Job Description

Additional Information

• The position is full-time, M- F 8 am to 5 pm
