Job summary

Sokolservices in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking an Associate Scientist to support oral solid dosage formulation development at a client facility. This hands-on role involves laboratory and pilot plant activities, formulation studies, material characterization, and product testing.

You will contribute to development and optimization through experimental studies, batch processing, data analysis, and troubleshooting, with a focus on DOE and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or related science; associate degree considered with relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in dosage form development.
• Hands-on experience with oral solid dosage formulation development and processing.
• Experience with blending, granulation, compression, or encapsulation.
• Experience in pharmaceutical lab or pilot plant; ability to run studies and analyze results.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab and pilot plant activities supporting oral solid dosage formulation development.
• Perform oral product batch processing, material characterization, and formulation testing.
• Support formulation development involving blending, granulation, compression, and encapsulation.
• Design and execute experimental formulation studies.
• Analyze experimental results and support formulation and process optimization.
• Apply DOE approaches and technical problem-solving to formulation development.
