Applied Medical Technology, Inc. (AMT) is seeking an Associate Sales Representative to support the Sales team by setting appointments, generating leads, and helping achieve territory goals.
The role involves training customers and travel, with up to 75% travel across the United States, including attendance at tradeshows and conferences. You will work under the National Sales Manager, build product and market knowledge, and contribute to creating sales tools and reports.

The purpose of this position is to assist sales representatives in achieving their goals. The candidate must maintain an understanding of distribution channels and key industry leaders and be willing to travel as needed for tradeshows, conferences and in‑service events. This role involves up to 75% travel throughout the United States and includes training and supporting customers, as well as assisting sales representatives as required. Incentive program and goals will be based on developing and sustaining profitable sales growth.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume, and to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, probability, and statistical inference.
Ability to solve practical problems, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in situations with limited standardization. Must interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Maintains a valid Driver’s License.
Mental: Must effectively communicate, complete complex number analysis, read and interpret written materials, develop teams to meet and exceed company standards, ensure compliance with policies, respond appropriately to feedback, maintain positive relationships, troubleshoot, and solve problems.
Physical: Must hear and verbally communicate for hours, use computer equipment. Moderate noise level and limited exposure to physical risk.
Knowledge of modern business communication, office procedures, and methods. Skill to use a personal computer and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork.
Telephones, computer, and other office equipment as needed.
