We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Associate Research Technician. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for performing basic laboratory experiments, and a variety of experiments of routine nature, collaborating with lab members on different projects, contributing the organization of the lab and providing support for various aspects of experimental research. Works under general supervision.
This is an entry level trainee position with no experience necessary and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Life Sciences or a related field is not required (but preferred). Experience in some areas of basic cellular immunology, molecular biology, tissue culture would be advantageous but is not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Bachelors of Science Degree in Life Sciences or a related field preferred. Must have mouse husbandry experience and experience with immunological assays such as flow cytometry and confocal imaging along with some basic molecular biology experience.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $52,199.70 - $66,763.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
