Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Associate Research Scientist will play an integral role on NIH-funded projects examining the tobacco retail environment in several US cities and the impact of local policies on tobacco use disparities. Primary responsibilities include collecting, analyzing and interpreting data on the tobacco retail environment (e.g., retailer density, marketing), population survey data, and qualitative data (e.g., interviews with key stakeholders). The Associate Research Scientist will also lead and contribute to peer-reviewed manuscripts and scientific presentations related to study findings. The Associate Research Scientist will assist in supervising junior research staff and students as opportunities arise. A major component of this position will be the development of new project ideas, including those related to cannabis policy,
