The Student Records department is responsible to provide effective coordination, processing and maintenance of many student processes and procedures. This unit processes transcripts, grades, transcript evaluations, prerequisite overrides, the College Opportunity Fund processing, No Show reporting, demographic changes to name and social security numbers, correcting duplicate student accounts, residency classification for tuition purposes, coordinates the graduation process and prints diplomas. This department is a source for FERPA guidelines and processing legal requests for student information. This department is responsible for data corrections and state reporting, along with reporting to the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) and The National Student Clearinghouse. This unit is expected to provide excellent customer service to students and staff within the boundaries of federal, state, and institutional policies and procedure.
The Associate Registrar is responsible for planning, organizing, and evaluating the daily operations of the Student Records department, ensuring compliance with college, state, CCCS, and federal laws, policies, and regulations. This position is responsible for administering the COF process and tuition classification for tuition purposes. This position runs daily reports to upload and process COF and contacts students to complete the COF process and resolves related issues. This position is responsible for applying tuition classification law when processing residency petitions and applications. This position is responsible for the supervision of four full-time staff members each performing duties critical to the Student Records office and Registrar functions.

Starting salary range for this position is $66,733 - $73,105 annually, commensurate with education and experience. This is a full-time, FLSA-exempt position. This position has been exempted from the State Classified System.
