Capital One is looking for an Associate Recruiter to join the Students & Grads Talent Acquisition team in McLean, Virginia. You will manage candidates through the full recruiting lifecycle, provide consulting to S&G teams, and drive innovative sourcing strategies to attract top campus talent.

This role requires travel up to 25% of the time and offers a dynamic, collaborative environment focused on best-in-class candidate experiences and impactful campus programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in recruiting, human resources or client consulting or combination.

Responsibilities

• Full life-cycle recruitment including planning, sourcing, coordinating, and executing all stages of the recruitment process.
• Candidate management - highly organized, detailed oriented, and can effectively communicate with candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers and business group or organization leads, and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs.
• Work cross-functionally across a team of high performing recruiters.
• Effectively work with business partners on strategic initiatives and hiring strategy.
• Leverage recruiting data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners.
• Source stellar candidates. Look beyond direct applications and leverage search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market.
• Build relationships with candidates at a high-volume, understand their interest and passion and direct them to the right role or opportunity.
• Track high-volume candidate data in real-time with precision.
• Contribute to ad-hoc recruitment projects

Capital One is looking for a talented Recruiter to join our Students & Grads Talent Acquisition Team. This is an exciting opportunity to infuse the organization with talent brokers for Capital One. In partnership with your team, you will effectively manage candidates through the recruiting and selection process, provide consulting and guidance to our S&G Talent Acquisition teams and participate in projects that enhance the recruiting experience. You will be passionate about keeping abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques that enable us to be a best-in-class recruitment shop.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• At least 1 year of experience in recruiting, human resources or client consulting or combination

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, human resources or client consulting experience or combination
• Experience in Campus Recruiting or Programs

McLean, VA: $81,700 - $93,300 for Recruiter

Richmond, VA: $74,200 - $84,700 for Recruiter

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
