Job Summary And Qualifications
JOB TITLE – Associate Regional Recruiter
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Associate Regional Recruiter is a developmental recruiting position designed to bridge the Associate Recruiter and Regional Recruiter roles. The position provides an opportunity for demonstrated Associate Recruiters to develop and prove their ability to independently manage candidates through the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Source and recruit qualified clinicians for assigned positions and markets utilizing approved recruitment resources, social media platforms, referrals, databases, and other sourcing methods.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of active and passive healthcare candidates.
- Conduct candidate intake and prequalification to determine whether candidates meet position requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate interviews using effective interviewing techniques to evaluate qualifications, availability, interest, and overall fit.
- Provide candidates with accurate information regarding position requirements, market, location, facility, compensation, onboarding expectations, and other relevant details.
- Match qualified candidates to appropriate open positions based on candidate qualifications, preferences, availability, and business needs.
- Maintain ownership of minimum five assigned candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Submit qualified candidates into the appropriate recruitment, credentialing, and/or onboarding process.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout onboarding to support timely completion of required documentation and requirements.
- Follow up on outstanding candidate requirements and identify barriers that could prevent or delay onboarding.
- Partner with credentialing, onboarding, operations, Regional Recruiters, and other internal teams to move candidates efficiently through the process.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate information, activities, notes, and status updates within the applicant tracking system and other required systems.
- Develop candidate relationships that support retention, referrals, and future recruitment opportunities.
- Utilize appropriate communication and sales techniques to communicate the value of available employment opportunities.
- Escalate candidate issues, delays, or concerns to Recruitment Leadership when appropriate.
- Demonstrate increasing independence in managing candidates and recruitment activities in preparation for advancement to Regional Recruiter.
- Maintain required productivity, quality, compliance, and candidate experience standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES – This position requires the following minimal requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
- Maintains working area and equipment in accordance with environmental and safety regulations
- Experience using office productivity software tools like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
EDUCATION –High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; College Degree or coursework preferred
EXPERIENCE – Prefer but not required 1 year experience in the recruiting environment with emphasis in healthcare a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS –
- Exert up to 20 lbs force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs frequently
- Requires prolonged sitting and some bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
- Requires the perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
- Requires normal range of eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
- Requires dexterity to type.
- Work is performed in and office environment and involves frequent contact with staff and the public.
