Job summary

Supply Technologies in Solon, OH, seeks a Quality Engineer to help ensure products and processes meet quality standards across supply and manufacturing operations. You will work with suppliers, production teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant products and support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline OR +5 years of related experience.
  • APQP and AIAG Core Tools knowledge.
  • Experience in the use of basic inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Problem solving using 8D and 5 why methodology.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Performs quality inspections and audits on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Effectively communicating with customers, suppliers, and employees of Supply Technologies, whenever required to meet customer timing under the guidance of senior quality professionals.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions for quality issues using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Oversee product containment and rework process at customer and branch.
  • Collaborates with suppliers to address non-conformances and improve quality performance.
  • Maintains and updates quality documentation, including procedures, reports, and compliance records.
  • Provide visible, active support for the ISO 9001, and the ISO 14001 Quality System, as applicable.
  • Perform internal, customer and supplier audits
  • Active participation in new product launches representing Quality as part of the APQP process, as required.
  • Analyses quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and supports implementation of solutions.
  • Works with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, engineering, supply chain) to ensure consistent quality standards.
  • Participates in internal and external audits and supports regulatory and customer compliance requirements.

Job Summary:

This role helps ensure that products and processes meet quality standards across supply and manufacturing operations. The position supports the delivery of reliable, compliant products by working closely with suppliers, production teams, and internal stakeholders. This role contributes to continuous improvement byidentifyingquality issues, supporting investigations, and implementing corrective actions. It plays a key part inmaintainingcustomer satisfaction and driving operational excellence.

Must Haves:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline OR +5 years of offsetting experience.
  • APQP and AIAG Core Tools knowledge.
  • Experience in the use of basic inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Problem solving using 8D and 5 why methodology.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Automotive and/or Heavy Truck industry exposure.
  • Ability to work under remote or offsite supervision.
  • Worked under ISO 14001 and IATF-16949 management systems.
  • Gage Calibration and Gage R&R software experience.
  • Experience with Optical Comparator, Hardness Tester, Thread and Plug Gages.
  • Exposure to lean & Six Sigma.
  • Quality management system or supplier process/product audit experience
