Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Program Management and external customers to ensure quality standards are followed.
• Determine root cause for non-conforming products or materials and implement corrective actions.
• Write inspection procedures and review in-process rejections and product dispositions.
• Analyze quality performance and work with Operations Engineers to drive improvements.
• Serve as primary customer quality interface, including briefings if needed.

Job Description:

• Develop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses

• Collaborate with both internal (Operations, Engineering, and Program Management) as well as external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and are being properly executed

• Determine root cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action as needed

• Write inspection procedures and assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositions

• Analyze quality performance for factory and collaborate with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans for identified problem areas

• Serve as primary customer Quality interface which may include having to conduct customer business briefings

  Qualifications:

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences or related field or have completed their Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

  Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Six Sigma, LEAN, and/or simulation tools like Arena, CAD, and/or AutoCAD
