Job summary

CentraCare Health in St. Cloud is seeking an Associate Psychotherapist for the Behavioral Health Observation Unit. You will perform diagnostic and biopsychosocial evaluations and deliver therapeutic treatment toward clearly defined goals.

A collaborative, motivational interviewing approach and evidence-based psychotherapy guide patient care. The role includes full-time schedule with day/evening shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, and a $6,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related Human Services field.
• State of Minnesota licensure required (LP, LICSW, LMFT or LPCC).
• Minimum of one-year experience required.
• Compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluation.
• Execute therapeutic treatment toward defined goals.
• Utilize motivational interviewing and evidence-based psychotherapy.
• Collaborate with the Behavioral Health Observation Unit team to support patient care.
