Position Summary

The Associate, Project Manager will report to a Senior Manager in Practice Technology - Disputes. Requirements include 2+ years of law firm, litigation support, eDiscovery vendor experience. This role involves legal technology and related applications support-oriented Project Management, requiring familiarity with day-to-day operations and general use of eDiscovery technology including data processing tools, hosting platforms (Relativity and/or eZReview experience a plus), and analytics/TAR/Predictive Coding. The successful candidate will have an interest in, and enthusiasm for, adopting new legal technologies with a knack for task execution in a timely and responsive manner. Awareness of the evolving legal technology and automation landscape is highly preferred.

The responsibilities include supporting, coordinating, and tracking project progress from inception to trial, supporting internal matters with the Office of General Counsel, and assisting with various practice technology projects involving different platforms. Experience with eDiscovery databases, data loads, processing, project coordination, and providing end-user support is essential. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends may be required.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are necessary, along with the ability to work independently under strict deadlines. Familiarity with trial presentation software like Sanction or Trial Director, and online presentation services such as Opus, TrialView, or Legal Radius, is a plus. On-site trial experience is also advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan electronic discovery projects in collaboration with senior team members and case teams.
  • Support internal and external eDiscovery matters, ensuring quality and success.
  • Advise on best practices for document management and workflow.
  • Support practice technology applications like CaseRooms and Opus Magnum.
  • Communicate effectively regarding discovery issues, budgets, and production planning.
  • Report on project status and support senior team members.
  • Coordinate data collections and analyze incoming data.
  • Design databases in vendor and internal applications.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Track billable and non-billable time accurately.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
  • Project management or business analysis certification (PMP, ACEDS) is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing eDiscovery projects.
  • Familiarity with EDRM, Relativity, and other eDiscovery tools.
  • Understanding of large document review workflows and TAR models.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Access, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Flexibility to support different work schedules and locations.

  • Based in Tampa, Florida.
  • Reports to a Senior Manager in Practice Technology - Disputes.
  • Exempt role with salary and potential bonuses.
