ArchKey Solutions in Austin, TX seeks an Associate Project Manager for Construction Technologies to coordinate field staff and assist project managers in controlling quality, schedule, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction across projects. You will assemble and maintain all documentation for timely commissioning and closeout, support preconstruction activities, and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualificações

• Associate degree or equivalent in project management, construction management or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0-1 year of construction and/or project management experience.
• Knowledge of construction methods, costing, scheduling, estimating and safety standards.
• Project management training and lifecycle understanding.
• Ability to read contracts, plans, drawings and specs; strong analytical and math skills.

About the Position

Responsible to coordinate field staff and assist project managers in managing all construction processes to ensure project quality, schedule, cost control, safety and customer satisfaction objectives are met or exceeded, in alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives and regulations. This position assembles, organizes, and maintains all documentation needed for timely project commissioning and closeout activities.

Day in the Life

• Reviews plans and specifications to understand project scope and milestones. Prepares drawings and sketches, change orders, estimates, RFIs, material and labor cost codes, etc. to support technologies construction project work.
• Assists project managers with budget tracking, customer billing, labor estimates, scheduling, job cost reviews, purchase orders, project status reports, and tracking of inspections, testing, and reporting. Participates in project status meetings and assists in developing meeting minutes for distribution.
• Coordinates preconstruction activities as needed, such as construction planning and design, interpretation of design and drawings, projections, preparation of takeoffs, application of construction methods and bid packages. Researches and recommends resolutions to drawing interpretation and other problems, conflicts and errors discovered. Assists with constructability reviews and value engineering functions.
• Conducts jobsite inspections of first work in place to assure accurate placement and conformance with the contract documents and the Companys project quality assurance standards. Takes weekly job site photographs capturing the construction progress and records.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in project management, construction management or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 0-1 year of construction and/or project management experience. Familiarity with computerized estimating systems preferred.
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials, costing, scheduling, and estimating and general industry safety standards, procedures and regulations preferred.
• Project management training, experience, and skills. Understanding of the project life cycle.
• Skills to read, interpret and understand contracts, plans, drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Travel

• Travel to project sites is REQUIRED, which may include temporary relocation for the duration of the project.

Salary Range

• $65,000 - $88,000 base salary depending on experience and qualifications.
