Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join the AAR-47 Program Management Office in Warner Robins, GA. The role is 100% onsite and focuses on coordinating program activities, schedules, and deliverables within a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee project tasks, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure documentation accuracy while aligning with company values and leadership behaviors. This position offers growth in a collaborative, mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of related project management experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with an Associate's degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (not required to obtain before hire).
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • Must be able to manage several ongoing tasks through completion.
  • File and SharePoint management experience.
  • On-site work in Warner Robins, Georgia; ability to work any shift.

  • Provide consistent administrative and coordination support across the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain and update essential project documentation including schedules and cost information.
  • Support production and distribution of project reports and performance updates.
  • Coordinate project-related activities including customer meetings and functional syncs.
  • Prepare agendas, capture actions and ensure follow-up items are delivered.
  • Support risk and opportunity tracking and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain project management systems and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Complete billings processing and update government systems.
  • Prepare and review program documents including CDRLs and internal deliverables.
  • Assist with generating and consolidating basis of estimates for proposals.

What You’ll Get To Do

We are looking for you to join our team as an Associate Project Manager located in Warner Robins, GA to support the AAR-47 Program Management Office. This position is 100% onsite.

This role oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing AAR-47 projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. The successful candidate must demonstrate consistent exemplary judgement while embodying Northrop Grumman company values and leadership behaviors.   • Assist with generating and consolidating basis of estimates for proposals
Basic Qualifications
  • Must have 1 year of related project management experience with a Bachelors, 3+ years with associate's degree
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (not required to obtain before hire)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Must be able to manage several ongoing tasks through completion
  • File and SharePoint management experience
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Management or similar
  • Experience with briefing, public speaking, and strong team communication skills
  • Strong problem-solver with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with scheduling multiple items and quickly adapting to rapid changes
  • Experience working independently and capable of self-prioritizing and tasking with a consistent cadence
  • Experience working within teams: projects, meeting schedules, and goals
  • Experience collaborating with customers: meetings, presentations, and tours

Primary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
