Job summary

Carrier is seeking an Associate Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning through delivery at our Indiana site. The role requires coordinating with the project team, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver on contractual requirements within budget and on schedule.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success. The position offers opportunities in building automation, HVAC controls, and software like WebCTRL, with exposure to TCP/IP

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management in the construction industry.
  • Ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment to 8 feet, and lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to be insured to drive company or personal vehicles for company purposes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical certificate in HVAC, controls, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and provide direction to the Project Team.
  • Complete projects per contractual requirements within budget and on-time with high customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with managing and tracking financial performance: planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R, and cost re-estimations.
  • Manage delivery of contracted scope and secure change orders for scope creep.
  • Coordinate project materials and shared resources; identify constraints and propose corrective action.
  • Build relationships with subcontractors and address issues with corrective action plans.
