Job summary

Linc Housing Corporation in Long Beach, CA seeks an Associate or Assistant Project Manager to support development and construction management. You’ll be the main contact for lenders, city agencies, and community groups through project cycles.

Hybrid, full-time exempt with two days at the corporate office. You’ll coordinate plans with engineers, architects, and consultants, perform document prep for financing and approvals, and contribute to negotiations and public presentations.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of standard methods and processes for project construction applications and financing.
  • Understanding of financing sources such as LIHTC, MHP, AHPS.
  • Experience with entitlement work and data collection.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as contact for development-related issues with lenders, agencies and groups.
  • Prepare applications and coordinate financing materials.
  • Coordinate plans and documents by outside engineers, architects and consultants.
  • Support negotiations with public agencies and community groups.
  • Assist in coordinating project consultants, including providing materials for architects and monitoring design phases.
  • Provide administrative support for the Housing Development Department.

Serves as a contact person for all entities involved in the development and construction of projects. Prepares applications and assists in coordination of required materials for applications for project financing and department approvals, preparation of plans and documents by outside engineers, architects, and consultants.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSServe as a contact person for project on development related issues for all entities involved with the construction project, including public and private lenders, City Planning, Building & Safety, Coastal Commission and others such as community groupsPrepare applications and assist in coordination of required materials for applications for project financing and department approvals, coordinates preparation of plans and documents by outside engineers, architects and consultantsSupport negotiations with public agencies and community groups, assist with coordinating selection of consultant team membersAssist in coordinating project consultants, including providing materials for architects, monitoring all phases of design and construction drawingsProvide general administrative support for Housing Development DepartmentMay perform research on entitlement work and data collection; may support public presentationsPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
