Job summary

Celestica in Richardson, TX, is seeking an Associate Engineer in Program/Project Management. This role supports design engineers, helps plan projects, and drives cross-functional program execution from inception to sustain phase.

You will coordinate PMO activities, assist in budgeting and reporting, and help manage risks and interdependencies across global teams. Entry-level to 1 year experience; bachelor's degree required; hands-on project coordination skills valued.

Qualifications

Project Management: manage a single line engineering project with a limited number of participants.
Leadership: demonstrate Individual Leadership Behaviors per Celestica Leadership Imperatives.
Financial Acumen / Business Planning: budgeting and cost accounting awareness within engineering work.
Communication/Negotiation/Presentation; Problem Solving; Stakeholder Management; Lean methods.

Responsibilities

Coordinate PMO activities around quoting schedules and Design costs for customer RFQs.
Work with CX-Sustaining team to coordinate Change Requests to products in mass production.
Work with PMO Staff to streamline/automate weekly, monthly reporting.
Lead cross-functional, global core teams, kick off programs, establish schedules and drive meetings.
Present and communicate status to management and may interact with customers.
