Qualifications

• Terminal academic or clinical doctorate in physical therapy.
• Licensed PT in the United States and eligible for Alabama licensure.
• Minimum five years of full-time or equivalent experience in PT education with leadership responsibilities.
• Evidence of curriculum development, program assessment, and academic operations.
• Ability to lead collaboratively, communicate effectively, and support colleagues and students.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day academic operations and curriculum planning for the developing DPT program.
• Coordinate student progression, advising, remediation, and outcomes assessment.
• Support admissions, recruitment, and accreditation readiness with CAPTE.
• Teach in areas aligned with expertise and mentor students.
• Collaborate with the Program Director, Director of Clinical Education, faculty, staff, and external partners.
