Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree required.
• Board certified or board eligible for Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.
• Texas Medical License and DEA registration prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient/inpatient pediatric oncology care at a tertiary hospital.
• Inpatient attending time includes night and weekend calls and rounds.
• Educate and supervise trainees including fellows and residents.
• Perform procedures (bone marrow, lumbar puncture) as indicated.
• Serve as backup consultant for Kinder Children's Cancer Center physicians.
• Conduct translational research in solid tumors as a major component of the role.
