Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Current active medical license issued by the State of Ohio or eligible for license.
• Appropriate medical credentialing through the Medical Staff Services offices.
• Completion of all required pre-employment activities.
• Associate Professor appointment or eligibility required.
• Generally requires a minimum of five years of service at the Assistant Professor rank.
• Preferred: Board certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective patient care commensurate with the level of advancement and clinical specialty and contribute to regional referrals.
• Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and medical students to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Participate in program development, governance, and policy development within the department.
• Engage in scholarly activity through clinical investigations, publications, and research efforts.
