The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral degree in nursing, an MBA, Texas RN/APRN license, FNP and AGNP certifications, and at least seven years of APRN experience.

Qualifications

• Earned Doctorate AND Master's in Nursing from a regionally accredited university.
• Master’s in Business Administration.
• Current RN/APRN license in the State of Texas or ability to transfer license.
• Holds national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult Gero Acute Care NP.
• At least seven years of clinical APRN experience as FNP or AGACNP.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and clinical instruction within the School of Nursing.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct educational experiences online, in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate nursing students using evidence-based instructional strategies.
• Maintain academic standards established by the School of Nursing and TTUHSC.
• Participate in curriculum development, evaluation, and program improvement.
