Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Sheboygan is seeking a skilled operator for a 12-hour day shift in a combined manufacturing and glass lab environment. You will perform quality-driven operations, routine assays, and provide critical support to equipment, reagents, and logbooks, ensuring adherence to quality guidelines.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related Life Science/Engineering field.
• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years in chemical production, lab or chemical engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations to meet quality expectations throughout the manufacturing process.
• Perform routine assays, processes and/or unit operations.
• Contribute to support functions of the lab (e.g., maintain equipment, prepare reagents, restock lab supplies, waste disposal).
• Provide complete and accurate records consistent with quality guidelines; participate in quality audits.
• Ensure all applicable logbooks are filled out completely.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with training.
