Job summary

The Associate Instructor will support Lead Instructors in conducting customer technical training and assisting with training program delivery. This role will help maintain and update training materials, provide technical support during instruction, and assist with hands‑on and presentation‑based training for various vehicle platforms.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist Lead Instructors with technical instruction, including classroom presentations and hands‑on training for customers on various vehicle platforms.
  • Assist with curriculum updates and course preparation activities by providing technical input and vehicle knowledge.
  • Participate in course content reviews, pilot courses, and training preparation activities.
  • Assist with gathering and communicating customer feedback regarding course content and vehicle support.
  • Support updates to training materials by providing technical and procedural change information to maintain course material accuracy and current iterations.
  • Prepare training equipment, vehicles, and classroom materials as needed to support course delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic experience or familiarity with heavy truck operation, maintenance, or mechanical systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • ASE certifications.
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Knowledge of Oshkosh Defense vehicles.
  • Familiarity with military defense vehicles.
  • Experience assisting with training, mentoring, or instructing a variety of audiences.
Pay Range

$57,600.00 - $90,400.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
