ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH is seeking an Associate Product Marketing Manager to drive the Kwikset portfolio from inception to end-of-life. You’ll guide NPI, manage packaging and SKUs, and shape marketing strategies in collaboration with sales, engineering, sourcing and finance.
The role requires a bachelor’s in marketing/related field and 3+ years in home improvement/CPG marketing, with strong data-driven and design sensibilities. Hybrid work from Lake Forest, CA; occasional travel.
The Associate Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the management of the Kwikset product portfolio, from inception through end of life. Through the help of a robust strategic planning and product development process, this individual will contribute heavily to new product ideation and innovation, manufacturing specification, marketing strategies, sales commercialization, and promotional opportunities. You will manage products through development milestones and work with a cross‑functional team of sales, engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, finance, quality, and Marketing Communication professionals in bringing your new innovations to life.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field is required. Minimum 3+ years marketing or relevant experience within the home improvement industry or consumer packaged goods company (CPG/FMG). P&L Management – experience understanding a product portfolio or business P&L; constant management of sku level and category level profitability Project Management – ability to successfully manage several initiatives/projects simultaneously; able to motivate cross‑functional team members regardless of function or tenure. Data driven decision making – must have experience utilizing market research methods and tools and translating findings into solutions and strategies. Item master data and content creation – Demonstrated experience with managing large data sets without error. Style – Must have excellent eye for design and strong sense of fashion. Specific experience and insight surrounding home décor trends, bath trends, and interior design a plus.
This role is hybrid with in‑office work from our Lake Forest, California location required Tuesday through Thursday every week. Able to travel domestically and internationally, as needed – approximately 3 trips per year.
Pay Range: $90,300-$154,880. This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
