Job summary

Rehlko is seeking an Associate Product Manager for Home energy products to drive development, profitability, growth and maintenance of current offerings. You will coordinate with Marketing, PMO, Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales and Finance to improve competitiveness and product performance.

The role emphasizes VOC-driven insights, market analysis, and collaboration across teams to deliver value and improved margins in a dynamic energy solutions portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years marketing experience with technical product, plus product & project management and scope development for cross-functional teams.
  • Sales, engineering or operational backgrounds with experience in departmental strategy and project justification are a plus.
  • Experience in current or new product development (Agile, Lean NPD) is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Execute VOC strategies and research to identify opportunities to enhance current product offering.
  • Routinely analyze competitive landscape and report on KOHLER product advantages and gaps.
  • Develop sales tools for Area Managers and Channel Partners to promote products in key markets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications to identify new market strategies and communicate updates to channel partners.
  • Work with Engineering and Operations to identify Value-Added/Value-Engineering opportunities to improve margins.
  • Identify low margin SKUs and collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Engineering to determine improvements or obsolescence.

Job Overview

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Associate Product Manager - Home energy products is responsible for development, profitability, growth, and maintenance of current Home Energy product offerings. This includes strategic market and financial planning, competitive analyses, sustaining product strategy, cross functional project management, cost reductions and aftermarket product support. Works closely with Product & Channel Marketing, PMO, Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Aftermarket Parts and Finance to improve competitive position and optimize product performance.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Execute VOC strategies & research within current and adjacent products to identify opportunities to enhance current product offering. Collaborate and network with channel, trade & industry partners, along with customers to understand market needs.
  • Routinely analyze and update competitive landscape, reporting on changes to KOHLER product advantages and areas to exploit market weaknesses to gain market share.
  • Develop sales tools for Area Managers and Channel Partners to promote products in key markets. Answer product related questions and inquires to promote sales growth.
  • Work with Marketing Communications team to identify new market strategies to enhance product placement and promotion. Communicate existing product updates to our channel partners.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Operations to identify and implement Value-Added/Value-Engineering opportunities to improve margins
  • Identify low margin & sales SKUs and work with Sales, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Engineering to determine improvement opportunities or obsolescence. Assist with pricing related activities to position existing products competitively per the product's value proposition.
  • Ability to define and clearly communicate scope for digital or whole good products. Create justification materials for management that will communicate enhancements to existing products.
  • Develop comprehensive review and impact analysis of compliance regulations governing residential standby applications. Proactively identify risks and develop plans for ensuring the product line is compliant with pending requirements.
  • Identify kit/accessory offerings to enhance existing products within the installed base.
  • Embrace and promote a culture of trust, pace, curiosity, and excellence. Be a collaborative teammate and promote creative solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering or related field
