Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions, a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks an Associate Product Line Manager in Etters, PA to support the Cable Backplane Systems team. You will work with engineering, quality, production, and sales to handle daily tasks for multiple product lines and drive cross-functional initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Business (engineering preferred) and 2+ years in interconnect or related fields, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business; engineering degree preferred.
• 2+ years related experience in interconnect/related field.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to lead in dynamic environments; technical aptitude including reading mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams in marketing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Support RFQs, RFPs, and pricing for product lines.
• Manage product sampling and communicate schedules to customers.
• Manage product PCNs (Product Change Notices).
• Monitor ongoing cost reduction and implementation efforts.
• Assist on product requests from customers and sales team.
• Develop marketing materials including datasheets, press releases, and marketing collateral.
• Ensure timely responses to customer quality concerns from other functions.
• Develop sales and marketing tools and provide technical assistance to customers and sales team.
• Perform data analysis of product sales, tracking revenue and margin by product/part number/region/customer.
• Travel may be required.

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We are currently seeking an Associate Product Line Manager to join our Product Management and Marketing team. The position will be located in Etters, Pennsylvania.

Summary

We are seeking an Associate Product Line Manager in our Cable Backplane Systems team who can support our product management team and customers with daily tasks and work cross functionally with engineering, quality, production, customer service, and other functions on various product lines.

Responsibilities

• Supporting RFQs, RFPs, as well as costing and pricing of product lines
• Managing product sampling for customers including managing and communication of schedules to customers
• Manage product PCN's
• Monitoring on-going cost reduction and implementation
• Assisting on product requests from customers & sales team
• Developing marketing materials including product datasheets, press releases, and other online or printed marketing collateral
• Ensuring quality and other functions provide timely responses to customer quality concerns
• Developing sales and marketing tools, providing technical assistance to customers and sales team
• Data analysis of product sales including tracking of revenue/margin by product/part number/region/customer
• Job-related travel may be required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred
• 2+ years related experience, ideally within the interconnect industry
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to lead and navigate dynamic environments Technical aptitude, including ability to read mechanical drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work cross-functionally with global and multicultural teams in marketing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, vendors, and customers
