Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Associate in Wilmington, DE to join the Card & Connected Commerce Controllers team. You’ll own end-to-end accounting for revenue and receivables, apply revenue recognition standards, and drive accurate financial outcomes.

You’ll collaborate across Sales, Operations, and Finance, investigate variances, and elevate reporting through data mining and robust analytics. This is a growth-focused role in a fast-changing business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related finance, accounting, or reporting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in either Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage working towards rigorous deadlines.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel, plus Word and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, regulatory reporting, and internal control concepts.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• ERP experience (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and strong general ledger familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with P&L reporting and month-end close processes; Revenue Recognition, Invoicing, Receivables Management.
• Prepare balance sheet substantiation and support reconciliations (e.g., accruals, deferred revenue, intercompany).
• Deliver detailed analytical reporting to business managers and senior finance leadership.
• Supporting card products, Card & Connected Commerce, or comparable consumer finance businesses.
• Effective stakeholder management—provide clear status updates and responds promptly.
