Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Internship or project experience in applications engineering or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain user-friendly application tools, reference boards, and software.
  • Assist customers during their design process by providing guidance and solutions.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of system-level architecture to help customers.
  • Participate in road testing to validate product specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to streamline development.
  • Support analysis of competitor products and comparison tables.
  • Create clear, accurate technical documentation for customers and teams.
  • Assist with qualification testing processes to ensure market requirements.

About The Role

As an Associate Product Applications Engineer at Analog Devices (ADI), you will be part of a dynamic team creating tools that assist customers in integrating ADI products into their designs. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in providing innovative, practical solutions while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Application Tools Development: Create and maintain user-friendly application tools, reference boards, and software that support customers in implementing ADI products effectively
  • Customer Technical Support: Assist customers during their design process by providing accurate guidance, recommendations, and solutions to technical challenges
  • System Understanding: Develop foundational knowledge of system-level architecture to help customers efficiently integrate ADI products
  • Product Validation: Participate in road testing to validate product specifications and understand boundary conditions
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to streamline product development and market introduction
  • Competitive Analysis: Support the analysis of competitor products, evaluation kits, and comparison tables to provide technical insights
  • Technical Documentation: Create clear, accurate technical documentation to communicate complex information to customers and internal teams
  • Qualification Support: Assist with qualification testing processes to ensure products meet market requirements
Must Have Skills
  • System Level Design: Ability to develop basic understanding of system-level architecture and how components interact within larger systems
  • Application Development: Foundational skills in creating application tools, reference boards, or software to demonstrate product capabilities
  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Willingness to work effectively with different teams and adapt to various perspectives
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and methodical approach to identifying and resolving technical issues
  • Product Knowledge: Eagerness to learn about ADI products and their applications in different customer scenarios

  • Laboratory Skills: Basic proficiency with test equipment and measurement techniques for product validation

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $68,390 to $94,055.
