Job summary

You will oversee production of video elements, help develop interactive social media, conduct research, and assist in idea generation for studio shows and non-linear platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong writing skills demonstrated in past production briefs and scripts.
• Experience coordinating studio shows and live events.
• Familiarity with social media integration for show content.
• Knowledge of current technology trends in video production.
• Understanding of editing workflows in AVID/QEP environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the production of assigned video elements.
• Helps develop and integrate the use of interactive social media to drive show content.
• Integrates visual elements into assignments to drive show content.
• Gathers news, facts and video for assigned productions; researches and prepares story ideas.
• Conducts research in video archives to obtain material for all assigned production elements.
• Participates in idea generation during show meetings for assigned projects.
• Contributes creative concepts for studio show elements and non-linear platforms.
• Contributes ideas to generate content and manages projects from conception to execution.
• Collaborates with editors in AVID and QEP edit facilities.
• May produce ENG field shoots including interviews and basic art direction.
• May produce assigned segments with guests or analysts in studio shows.
• Provides direction and feedback to Production Assistants and Content Associates.
• Work is subject to close supervision within defined production processes.
• Serves as a resource and mentor to Production Assistants and Content Associates.
