Ideal candidates have television experience, understand current events, and can work both collaboratively and independently. Eligible benefits accompany pay of $67,000.00–$75,000.00 annually.

Qualifications

• Prior television (or similar) experience.
• Strong knowledge of news, business news, politics, and current events.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively under intense deadline pressure.
• Ability to work independently and make smart decisions.
• Willingness to listen, learn, and grow from constructive criticism.

Responsibilities

• Pitch unique guests, stories, and segments.
• Conduct in-depth research on news stories.
• Write stories, guest intros, and banners.
• Select news-forward elements including sound, video, and graphics to help tell a story.
