Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking a manufacturing operations support role to assist with production and QA, focusing on deviation investigations and root-cause analysis. You will help ensure regulatory compliance and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires at least an associate degree in technology or equivalent experience, with GMP knowledge and strong written communication.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written communication skills required.
  • GMP knowledge preferred.
  • System knowledge preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred, pharmaceutical focus a plus.
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify process needs and improvement opportunities for routine to minimally complex matters
  • Perform process confirmations to ensure compliance and process improvements

Our Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing (PS AM) facility in Clayton, NC is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site that is responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. The Position

Support people, equipment and processes for our operations areas to meet business and regulatory requirements.

Relationships

Reports to Manager. The role is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders related to assigned area.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role).

Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in technology (engineering, technology or related field of study preferred) from an accredited university required
  • May consider a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience required, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills required
  • GMP knowledge preferred

  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience a plus
