Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Process Optimization to join our Eligibility and Billing team. You will design, optimize and implement process improvements across internal operations, gathering requirements, managing project plans and communicating risk mitigation strategies.

This is a remote role open to candidates in Dallas, TX, with potential future hybrid work. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, mentor teammates, and ensure compliance with applicable laws while driving

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years commensurate experience.
• 3+ years work experience in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering and/or consulting.
• 2+ years experience using data software such as Excel, SQL, Python.
• 2+ years experience with end-to-end project management.
• 2+ years experience in designing and improving workflows and standing up accompanying operating and technical procedures.
• 2+ years experience with Lean, Six Sigma or Theory of constraints.

About the role:

The Associate, Process Optimization is responsible for working cross functionally with business and technical Oscar stakeholders and representing the needs and interests of the department in company wide strategic initiatives and in solving business problems related to internal processes. The position leads the design, optimization, and implementation of processes and improvements to operations in support of achieving organizational goals. This requires collecting and documenting business requirements, building and managing project plans, documenting key project decisions, managing project governance, applying frameworks, analyzing data, and developing and communicating risk mitigation strategies across disparate initiatives and stakeholders at the same time.

You will report into Senior Manager, Process Improvement.

Work Location:

This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in: Dallas, Texas. You will be fully remote; however, our approach to work may adapt over time. Future models could potentially involve a hybrid presence at the hub office associated with your metro area. #LI-Remote

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $87,188 - $114,434 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or 3+ years commensurate experience
• 3+ years of work experience in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering and/or consulting
• 2+ years of experience using data software such as Excel, SQL, Python or other data analytics tools
• 2+ years of experience with end to end project management
• 2+ years of experience in designing and improving workflows as well as standing up accompanying operating and technical procedures
• 2+ years of experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and/or Theory of constraints

Bonus points:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher
• Working knowledge of Enrollment and Billing

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
