Job summary

Join us at the Jackson, TN, plant to become Associate Process Engineer and lead transformative initiatives focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and productivity gains. You’ll work with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Quality, and Finance teams to drive projects using data analytics and continuous improvement principles.

The role supports a 7am–4pm schedule with shift rotations during the first 6 months to learn equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or HS Diploma/GED with related experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of managing safety and/or quality programs & processes.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience managing people.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining accountability and execution.

Responsibilities

• Production Line Support – Lead all activities on your assigned shift towards production goals, sanitation efforts, maintenance requests, managing technicians and the overall budget.
• Continuous Improvement – Possess an owner’s mindset, and all of the acronyms that come with continuous improvement, 5S, RCA and LEAN.
• Direction and Servant Leadership – Lead and demonstrate your people skills as you provide direction and support on various projects to numerous team members.
• Safety First – Focus on people safety and food safety in all aspects of the operation.

You will have the opportunity to work with various team members across Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Quality, Finance and more! Together, you will shape the future of the Jackson plant as you lead varying projects focused on process improvement utilizing data analytics. Our engineering and process teams are always growing with opportunities for advancement in your career as you develop your skillset and expand your knowledge.

We’re Looking for Someone With

Compensation

The annual salary range is $82,900 - $103,600, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.

All applicants must have permanent legal authorization to work in the United States. Kellanova does not sponsor employment visas for this role.
