This is an excellent opportunity for an investment professional who is looking to build a long-term career in portfolio management and gain meaningful exposure to investment research, portfolio construction, trading, performance analysis, and client-focused investment strategy.

Position Overview:

The Associate Portfolio Manager will work closely with the firm’s Investment Committee and senior portfolio management team to support the development, implementation, and ongoing management of investment portfolios and models.

This individual will play an important role in the firm’s investment process, combining analytical and research capabilities with strong attention to detail and a collaborative, team-oriented approach. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly organized, and motivated to take on increasing responsibility within portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the firm’s investment strategies and portfolio models.
  • Conduct fundamental and quantitative investment research to evaluate securities, asset classes, managers, and broader market trends.
  • Analyze portfolio data and performance to support investment decisions and identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist senior portfolio managers with portfolio construction, rebalancing, trade execution, and ongoing account management.
  • Monitor managed accounts and investment models for adherence to portfolio guidelines, allocations, and investment objectives.
  • Perform portfolio audits and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency across client accounts.
  • Utilize the firm’s proprietary portfolio management tools, systems, and processes.
  • Prepare portfolio performance reports, investment analyses, and other materials for internal and client-facing use.
  • Contribute to Investment Committee meetings, including preparation of research, analysis, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations and investment communications.
  • Collaborate across the investment and advisory teams to support a high-quality client experience.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects while continually developing technical investment and portfolio management expertise.
What We're Looking For:

The successful candidate will bring a strong analytical foundation, genuine interest in investment management, and the desire to grow into a broader portfolio management role.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to structure, organize, and analyze large datasets to support investment research and decision-making.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex investment concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Strong judgment, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the initiative to identify and solve problems independently.
  • Genuine interest in building a long-term career in portfolio management and investment research.
Education & Professional Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required within the first six months of employment.
  • Progress toward, or interest in, pursuing the CFA or CIMA designation is preferred.
  • Prior experience in investment management, wealth management, portfolio analysis, or a related financial services environment is preferred.
  • Competitive base salary of $65,000–$75,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities and potential salary increase tied to performance and professional development.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
  • Professional development opportunities and support for industry certifications.
  • Opportunity to work alongside experienced investment professionals and gain broad exposure to portfolio management and wealth management.

This role is designed for a motivated investment professional who wants to build a career in portfolio management. The successful candidate will have opportunities to progressively take on greater responsibility across investment research, portfolio construction, trading, account management, and client engagement.
