Qualifications
- DPM degree from an accredited podiatric medical school.
- Completion of a 3-year podiatric residency program or currently in the final year.
- Board eligibility or board certification through ABPM/ABFAS, or pursuing certification.
- North Carolina podiatry license or ability to obtain licensure.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat conditions of the feet, ankles, and lower extremities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide conservative and surgical care.
- Utilize orthotic devices and coordinate physical therapy as needed.
- Educate patients on foot care, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
