Job summary

Leonardo DRS is seeking an Associate Planner in West Plains, MO to manage material planning and coordination with planning, project accounting, and project management. You will create procurement requests based on the Master Production Schedule and maintain daily manufacturing build plans.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, strong knowledge of MRP, and proficiency in Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint. On-site position with full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of business processes and functional inter-relationships.
• Background in project material management.
• Solid experience in production planning.
• Skilled in Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
• Good understanding of MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive consistent communications between planning, project accounting, and project management for consistent project Material EAC’s and Execution Charts.
• Create documentation to plan material deliveries and monitor the supply chain.
• Consolidate demand for purchase requisitions.
• Create purchase requisitions based on the Master Production Schedule.
• Create reports for distribution to program office, customer visits and management.
• Maintain manufacturing build plans daily.
• Highlight critical parts and any issue impacting MPS.
• Coordinate engineering changes with purchasing and production; disposition of obsolete material.
• Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company.
