Skechers USA, Inc. is seeking an Associate Planner to support the Joint Venture team with data-driven analysis of sales and inventory at country and channel levels. You’ll influence seasonal assortments, budgets, and in-season opportunities across Normal stores, Outlet, and Ecommerce channels.

You will partner with Merchandisers and JV partners to ensure data integrity, plan pre-season and maintain in-season data, and drive reporting enhancements with IT. On-site role in California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2+ years planning/analyst experience.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan pre-season and maintain in-season data by reviewing sales, SKUs, inventory and opportunities.
• Analyze sales and inventory to forecast and plan assortment by channel.
• Provide recaps and projections for quarterly/monthly results at country/channel level.
• Partner with Merchandisers and JV team to communicate budgets, targets and months of supply.
• Coordinate with IT to automate reports and refine planning tools.

The Associate Planner is responsible for analyzing country’s historical sales and inventory to ensure optimal quarterly/seasonal assortments, identify/react to in-season misses/opportunities and communicating/executing strategies at the business channel level (Normal stores-Retail/Franchisees/Wholesale, Outlet stores- Retail/Franchisees/Wholesale, and Ecommerce).WHAT YOU'LL DO:Partner with JV team focusing intensely on data integrity (sales, inventory, AUR, discount %, etc) for each business channelPartner with JV team regarding sales budget/target, projected door count, sku plans in order to plan sales and forecast inventory levels based on weekly/monthly/quarterly sales resultsPlans pre-season (via quarterly recaps, assortment audits) and maintains in-season data (via monthly OTB) by reviewing sales, skus, inventory and identifying opportunities and risks at the gender/category/division/style/sku levelAnalyze booking reports to identify opportunity and make projections at the divisional level per channelProvides constructive analysis of monthly/quarterly recaps at the business channel level by countryPartner with Merchandisers and JV team to communicate quarterly recaps, inventory levels, and months of supplyTake initiative to hold conference calls with the JV team on a monthly/quarterly basis or as neededWork closely with Merchandisers on key initiatives, providing recaps where necessaryEnsure business needs are being met and execute planning calendar where necessaryLiason and work closely with IT to identify systems, automate reports, continuous development and refining of planning systems and tools (reporting enhancements)Drive execution on multiple business plans and projects and propose solutions whereas necessary with minimal directionParticipate in company and brand initiatives as appropriateADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Bi-Annual Global Conferences (normal work schedule will be extended; so will need to be flexible on working hours)WHAT YOU'LL BRING:Ability to work on-siteExcellent knowledge of systems, such as Apropos, Meta Cube, MicroStrategy and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel- advanced user, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)Strong analytical skillsStrong problem solving skillsAbility to be flexible and work in a fast paced environment with shifting prioritiesExcellent communication, presentation, organizational skillsProactive, assertive, takes initiative to drive business and think outside of the boxProduct and systems knowledgeREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree2+ years planning/analyst experience#LI-NK1The pay range for this role is $70,304-$80,000/yr USD.About SkechersSkechers, a global Fortune 500 company, develops and markets a diverse range of lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel, and accessories.
