Job summary

Boutique Recruiting seeks an Associate Planner for an established transportation consulting firm in Santa Rosa, California. You will lead and support transportation planning projects for public and private sector clients, and develop analyses and client deliverables using ArcGIS.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Planning with a transportation emphasis and at least 3 years of related experience, plus familiarity with parking management and TDM principles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning or a related field with an emphasis in transportation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in transportation planning or a related field.
  • Experience using GIS, including ArcGIS for analysis and exhibit preparation.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong understanding of parking management, parking policy, and TDM principles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support transportation planning projects for public and private sector clients.
  • Conduct transportation, parking, and mobility analyses to inform planning recommendations.
  • Develop transportation demand management (TDM) strategies and parking management plans.
  • Assist in planning and evaluating Mobility Hubs and multimodal transportation initiatives.
  • Prepare technical reports, planning studies, presentations, and client deliverables.
  • Create analytical maps and high-quality exhibits using ArcGIS.

Position Title: Associate Planner

Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000 annually / DOE
