Job Description

Associate in Payments Trade & Working Capital Planning & Analysis (P&A) Team. The role involves supporting day‑to‑day business objectives, shaping strategic vision, and managing critical deliverables in a fast‑paced environment. You will develop and present financial analyses, maintain sophisticated models, and conduct investigations into key business issues while fostering strong relationships with business partners.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing annual and continual financial planning activities for product areas and providing business rationale for month‑end performance and forecasts.
• Developing, analyzing, and presenting financial results and key drivers (revenues, expenses, headcount, balance sheet, ROE, etc.) to business leads.
• Collaborating with P&A lead and team members on financial reporting and delivering actionable insights to business management.
• Working with Business Management teams and Payments Central & Strategy on critical presentations and projects such as period business reviews, budget reviews, senior management offsites, and ad‑hoc special projects.
• Supporting digital transformation initiatives by executing strategic initiatives, efficiency reporting, analytics, and long‑term strategy (e.g., location strategy).
• Conducting deep dive analyses on key issues to determine root causes and propose solutions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting (CFA, CPA, MBA).
• At least 2 years of relevant FP&A or strategic finance experience in the financial services industry.
• Proactive thinker with a growth and creative mindset.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to problem‑solve.
• Strong communication, executive storytelling, and presentation skills (written and verbal).
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; high level of detail orientation.
• Proficiency in Alteryx and other technologies for automation.
• Team player respected as a trusted partner for Business, Finance, and FP&A teams.
• Experience with Planning and Analysis, Business Management, Project Management, or Strategy.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, able to analyze large and disparate data sets and synthesize clear conclusions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to recommend performance, strategy, and organizational solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior P&A experience in Trade & Working Capital or Lending businesses.
