The ideal candidate has 3 to 9 years of patent prosecution and transactions experience and an engineering background. Big law pedigree or top academic credentials are highly valued.

Qualificações

• Engineering background required.
• 3–9 years of patent associate experience preferred.
• Experience in patent prosecution and transactions is expected.

• Support complex intellectual property matters including patent, trademark, copyright, false advertising, unfair competition, and trade secret matters.
• Handle licensing and commercial disputes.
• Draft patent applications and manage transactional patent matters.

Role: Patent Associate Attorney - 3 to 9 years of experience

Location: Dallas, Houston, DC, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles or Bay Area

Details: Patent prosecution and patent transactions at large firm. This firm is VERY picky on pedigree (former big law or top academic credentials). Hybrid. Engineering background is essential!

Responsibilities:

• Support complex intellectual property disputes, including patent, trademark, copyright, false advertising, unfair competition, and trade secret matters
• Licensing and commercial disputes.
• Patent application drafting and transactional patent matters. An engineering background is essential.

Compensation: $310,0000- $425,000
